Williwaw Instructors |
| |
Our skilled and dedicated Instructors are our most important element in creating a safe, fun and positive experience. They genuinely enjoy working with young people and are committed to the safety and success of each expedition. Each trip travels with one male and one female instructor. They are competent leaders, mentors, friends and teachers. Our Instructors are not only skilled in backcountry travel but also have a sense of how to create a postive experience and inspire spontaneous fun with a group of teenagers . All instructors have Wilderness First Aid training and are certified Trip Leaders by the State of Maine. Their average age is 26. While not leading trips for Williwaw, they are graduate students, teachers, outdoor educators and professional sailors. |
